Q. Who can receive in-home care?

Response Senior Care LLC offers non-medical care services to adults 18 and older and the elderly. We utilize our backgrounds in direct care, registered nursing, administration and clinical social work to support our clients and ensure their health and safety each and every day.

Q. Are your home care services covered through Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance?

For those who qualify, we participate in the Maryland community waiver program; however, private care is not covered by Medicare.

Q: Is your agency licensed?

Response Senior Care LLC is licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Hygiene as a Residential Services Agency, and we are recognized by The Department of Aging as a quality care provider. These measures ensure the knowledge and expertise of our staff in providing exceptional home care to our clients.

Q. Are your caregivers insured and bonded?

We are not a registry (a matching service that only matches caregivers and clients and does not employ). Our hired caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants or Trained Companions, and all are bonded and insured and armed with CPR and First Aid Training.

Q. How are your caregivers screened and trained?

Only caregivers who have passed our thorough screening (multiple state and federal background checks) and employment process are hired. The quality of the care and service provided to our senior and adult clients is our most important product and we take it very seriously. We regularly monitor the care we provide.

Q. Will I be able to reach a caregiver after hours? If so, how can I contact someone after hours?

Yes, Response Senior Care LLC understands that care is around the clock. Our phone lines are monitored after-hours and all calls are forwarded to an on-call member of our leadership team.

Q. How quickly can I arrange for service?

At Response Senior Care LLC, we take pride in our commitment to quickly arranging care. Oftentimes, we can assess needs, introduce and place a caregiver within 48 hours. We understand that in-home care is often thought of and pursued when the need is urgent and present.

Q. Do you require a commitment to a minimum of hours and days a week in order to provide care?
