What our nurses say about their profession.

Sharon Wollman RN: “I love being a nurse. My nursing education has afforded me the opportunity to reach out and touch many people. With a background in surgery at the University of Maryland, an owner of a home infusion company and now a home care nurse specializing in geriatrics, I have been able to give as well as receive.  My experience with Response Senior Care for 9 years has truly been a gift. Every day is special working with seniors in our community. I wake up every morning knowing that I am able to demonstrate compassion, offer emotional and spiritual support and exhibit a willingness to help others.  By the way, a warm hug has put a smile on many faces. How lucky am I.”

Rachel Long RN: “Everyone says their favorite part of being a nurse is helping people. But, it’s more than that. It is helping these people and their families at what can be some of the hardest times in their lives. At the hospital it is the challenge that excites me, figuring out what the problem is, the adrenaline when something goes wrong. At Response Senior Care, it is a totally different love of nursing. Here I am able to develop a relationship with these clients and see what people are like after the hospital stay. I get the best of both worlds and could not be more excited about it!”
